The 1800's (By Abby)

Untitled, originally uploaded by szachko.
" go out side" my mom said as she tried to hush my sister to sleep. I nodded slightly and walked out of the hot little log cabin. I walked toward the apothecary shop. I peered through the window. The bottle that laid just beyond the glass was a purplish color. That meant the flu was going around.

Just then, I could smell a wonderful fragrance in the air. I walked with directions from my nose towards the smell. I found myself walking towards the bakery. I could see just in front of me there was a dark wooden table in front of an old lady. The lady had Snow White hair that rested knotted over her wrinkled face. You could see a dark shadow forming under her eyes. You could tell she was getting tiered. She was using a brass ear trumpet to hear a boy who wanted to buy one of the bread that was Lying on the table. The boy was tall and thin. He had long reddish hair with freckles sprinkled over his cheeks . He was wearing a green shirt that looked rough and scratchy. He appeared to be my age.

I slowly made my way past the table and made long strides towards he bakery door. As I got inside I could feel the smell get stronger. And there, right in front of me was a loaf of bread so perfect it made the world stop and stare. Usually the bread we got was hard and stale. However, this one was P-E-R-F-E-C-T!!!!!! Without thinking I swiftly took the bread and tucked it in my sleeve. I looked to see if anyone saw, and surely enough there standing right behind me was a tall man with he same colored hair as the boy outside but this time he had a big bushy mustache and a flour covered apron.

" what do you think you're doing?" He said with a livid tone. Behind him was the boy peering from behind the mans back mouthing the words.

" run!"

Now we are moving to Suburb....

Zozo 2012, originally uploaded by szachko.
To renovate the new place, we have been spending every weekend in the new place. We drove through the community seeing lots of churches and temples along the way. Out of blue, Zozo asked:

Zo: Now, we are moving to the suburb. Are we going to church now?

All: ?!?!?!?!?!?

Tweenager Dilema

AB: I don't think I am a difficult person to talk to since I don't start any conversations, end any conversations or engage any conversations...

Me: That is why most parents with teenagers at home have such headaches

My little Tweenager

Sherry_9.03-4.05 151, originally uploaded by szachko.
Big one mentioned that she only saw little one's pictures when googling our last name. Looking back for the past 12 months photo archive, I realized I did not have enough pictures taken for big one. The reason is plain simple: Big one just wanted to be cool and does not want to have her pictures taken. Well, then she has conflicted feeling about not enough pictures shown under google.

Welcome to Tweenager age....

Think Outside the box

Zozo, originally uploaded by szachko.
Zozo needed help for her Chinese homework.   The assignment was to translate some Chinese words into English. Mommy got an idea to have her sister, Abby, to help her little sister. Both girls took the assignment happily and off to their room.

Couple minutes after, curious Mommy tried to find out how girls were doing and hopped over to the girls' room. Mommy learned shockingly that girls were using GOOGLE TRANSLATOR to do their Chinese home work.

Poems - By Abigail Zachko

Friends, originally uploaded by szachko.
(1)
Sophie says I’ve lost my head however I disagree. All though she’s older I’m on her shoulder and she can’t get herself free. My rhyme is bad that makes me sad but I have my head held high. And now it’s time for me to say “Good Bye!”

(2)
I’m trying hard to go to Mars but I still can’t get there. Sophie says I’ll never make it and she’s pulling out my hair. she is very mean and very lean and also quite grumpy. However my sister ZoĆ« is quite the rabbit because she is very jumpy.

My cat Mimi is fat and doesn’t enjoy play time. And not like me she knows how to rhyme. I know u think that Abby is writing this however that’s not true. The truth is that a cat is writing this and she likes the color Blue. My name is sari I won the lottery and got $10,000,000 . as I heard the screams and hollers, people were throwing dollars

My Farewell Greentea (by Uncle John)

     by John Su
It was a heart breaking day....
--------------------------------------------------------
Dear Stephanie, Yi-Ping, Alice and Chi-Chi:

Sorry to inform you: Greentea passed away this afternoon.

He has developed symptoms of illness in the past four days.  He ate less and less, moved less. He could not fly up, had to craw up.  Last night, he can still stay on purch to sleep.  Cheesecake had to stay very close to him to keep him warm.

This morning, we found Greentea on the floor, could not stand on its own feet.  Steven and I set up a ground feeder, so Greentea can stay in there. This earlier afternoon, he laid his head down, with little movement.  And just moment ago, he passed away.

According to wikipedia.org, life span of budgerigar are on average 5 - 8 years.  So, Greentea has spent most of his life with us.

Greentea has been my great company, and really a gentle birds.  Generous Greentea made Zoe and Abigail the luckiest two girls got to pet him last.  We thanks to his time with us.
