Theme of the Week - Family
The children will explore concepts of family in all the centers. The six centers in our classroom are: Literacy, Dramatic Play, Science, Blocks, Art and Table Toys. We will also read books, sing songs and discuss various families and family members. In our Dramatic Plan Center, we could really use some dress-up clothes, children kitchen utensils and pretend cooking supplies to enhance our study.

It's parents' nightmares to rush kids to ER. Luckily, it was just an intestine infection not appendicitis. The big one experienced her first Cat Scan and was great for the blood work. Sisters missed each other just a day of separation. They have fun with all the equipment in the hospital. Mommy and Daddy were happy she could come home next day.

Field Day - Summer is here!!
Here is the note that the lovely teacher described how much fun that kids had in the field day..
The children had an awesome time at field day! They were so well behaved and laughed all day long!
Here is what they said about their favorite part:
Devan “I like the water balloons because we threw them.”
Marielle “When we did the water balloons because we threw it at each other.”
Jadaline “The water balloons and the parachute because we played with it I liked when my mom was walking with us.”
Jocelyn “he bouncing ball because we jumped and came back.”
Cindy “When you hold the ball on the spoon and seeing my mom.”
Michael “The water balloon because they all exploded and the guy put the water on us. I like mommy because she was holding my hand.”
Despina “The parachute because it was fun. I liked when the ball was going up and down.”
Alanis “The water balloons and we got very wet.”
Eliott “When we ate hot dogs and the parachute and when we walked backwards with the ball. I like when my mom was there because she was nice to me and it was cool to be together.”
Mikaela “The water balloons because I got so soaking wet.”
Richard “My favorite part was the water balloons because I got to get sprayed.”
Joshua “When we got sprayed and we did the balloons.”
Ozzie “The beach race because it was funny and I put on sunglasses and it was crazy.” (This race was the children had to run to beach chair, take out towel, magazine and sunglasses, then they had to run back)
Abigail “The beach one because it was like when were on the beach.”

Isa “I liked eating because it is good. I liked mommy helping the teachers.”

From 4 to 40
Girls are planning Mommy’s 40 year old birthday. The little one suggested having a birthday party at Little Gym since there are dancing, exercising and air boat riding.
Mommy explained to the little girl that the Little Gym would have birthday parties for 4 year old but won’t have ones for 40 years old. This puzzles the little one for the rest of the day. Oh well, she will understand it one day.
